Aussie Nadi navigating a set of 12 weaves. There are different approaches to teach a dog to weave, and we'll show you the most common ones we found work the best in our different Agility classes!
1) We are GIVING THANKS to our clients!

We are very thankful that we can still continue to serve you, because you have been supporting us through these difficult times and still came to us with your dog. We want to thank you with a special offer, valid from now until Black Friday, November 27th.

Pick a behavior or sports class that fits your dog, and at checkout, enter PROMO CODE: TURKEY to get $30 off!! This offer can only be redeemed online, when signing up through our online system (let us know if anything doesn't work properly though). This offer is NOT valid for any packages.

2) Beyond Grade School - play and learn with your dog!

There is no better way than to improve your dog's manners, responsiveness and impulse control through games you play! Want to work with your dog off leash? Some classes beyond Grade School allow or demand for more off leash training!

Junior High: For our Grade School graduates! We teach traditional behaviors like Stay, Heel, Finish and Front using untraditional games; making it more fun for dogs and handlers. In this class we also play with scenarios like meeting other dogs on the trails and talk about the challenges of a busy household, with not only one dog, but additional dogs, kids or cats.

Treibball: As we just finished a Treibball Beginner class, we want to go forward with an Intermediate Class first, before offering another Beginner class at a later time. Already taken a Treibball Beginner class at an earlier time? Sign up for this Intermediate Class and we'll refresh you and your dog on the tasks! Interested in starting Treibball? Contact us to be on a list of people interested in Treibball! As soon as we get enough interest, we'll put one on the schedule!

Agility: Always a fun activity, we call this class also our "Recall Practice Class"! As all dogs will work off leash sooner or later, the recall is needed and will be practiced A LOT! This class is not only about teaching the dogs to safely maneuver over different obstacles like A-Frame, Dogwalk, Teeter-Totter or Tunnel. This class also teaches Recall, focus on the handler and staying with the handler while running - all valuable tools for the everyday life!

Junior High Class: Wednesdays, starting December 2, at 5:00 PM

Treibball Intermediate: Thursdays, starting December 3, at 7:30 PM

Agility Classes (all levels): Saturdays, starting January 9, 2021

Testimonials:

Here's what some of our clients had to say after taking Junior High
:

"[The greatest benefit was that it] keeps us motivated to continue training ... "

"He now knows "go to your spot" and his recall has improved greatly. Loose leash walking is still a working progress but we're getting there!"

"[My husband] forgot she (the dog) was out when he was bringing the horse in. She started to run toward the horse barking, but he said Stay and she stayed!"

'This class covered a huge amount of material. A little like getting a drink from a fire hose … You get what you need but not all of it. I may take this course a second time to get more of it."

4) COVID-19: Where we are, what we do

We are watching the situation closely, and feel comfortable to continue our services in our large building, using different precautions and counting on our clients to help keep the chances of spreading the virus low. We just received a huge compliment from our currently oldest client, who - after hearing the newest announcement by our governor and thinking about it - decided to come to the sports class with his dog this week. He is 84 years old!

Our current COVID-19 precautions:

Daycare:

- Employees are wearing masks when clients drop off or pick up their dogs.

- We ask you to enter the building one at a time when dropping off and picking up your dogs (this is mostly already practiced anyway)

- Surfaces are regularly sprayed and wiped with a disinfectant, including the floor and resting cots.

Classes and Open Play Times:

- People are exiting at the back door while the next group is entering the front door for one-way traffic.

- Our stations for each dog/handler team are 15-20 feet apart from each other.

- We only take a maximum of 8 dogs per class (we have 8 stations), and for sports classes only 6 dogs.

- Instructors and supervisors are wearing masks most of the time (instructor might take off the mask while explaining an exercise and being about 20 feet from the nearest client, so that all clients can hear the instructions clearly)

- The facility is getting sprayed and surfaces wiped with a disinfectant frequently and disinfectant sprays are available to all clients to use at their stations, and in the bathroom for every user.

- Clients can bring their own blanket to cover the cot at their station for their dog. The cots are sprayed regularly with a disinfectant, but not after every class.

- Clients have been very good about staying home when they have been exposed to somebody who has tested positive, until they were cleared with a negative test result themselves.

- We will follow the same procedures.

- If a client will miss three or more classes due to COVID-19, while keeping us safe, we will work with that client on what can be done to minimize the loss for dog and owner. This will be on a case-by-case basis by request.

Let's get through this together! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Enjoy the Journey of Dog Training together with us!
